Hyperpigmentation on the skin are made up of dense clusters of melanin cells in the dermis and epidermis. Unfortunately we cannot treat Melasma which is hormonal caused pigmentation.
Protecting our skin from the sun with a broad spectrum sunscreen all through the year is the best way to prevent pigmentation and Intense pulse light can help reduce and lighten the appearance
Intense pulse light targets the melanin and brings the darker pigment to the surface and sheds after 10 days revealing more even skin tone.

How does it work?
IPL for Pigmentation
The wavelengths targets the melanin (darker pigment) just beneath the surface of the skin. The light causes damage, which in turn causes the body to expel the damaged pigment to the surface and will gradually shed after 10 days. Resulting in even skin tone and skin texture is also improved thanks to the release of collagen encouraged by the treatment process.
Candela alexandrite for Pigmentation
755nm wavelength targets melanin targeting freckles and pigmentation. Pigment will darken and shed after 10 days revealing lighter pigment and a more even skin tone
