We can treat up to a skin type 3 but the paler the skin the better as we need there it be a contrast between the pigment and the surrounding tissue to safely lighten pigment. It is best to treat pigment in winter/ early year as you have to avoid sun 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after laser

1.No sun exposure or sunbathing for a minimum of four weeks before and 4 weeks after. We recommend application of minimum SPF30 sun cream daily, all year round

2.No false tanning products on the area for a minimum of two weeks before.

Please advise your therapist if you are taking any medication or if there are any changes in your medical circumstances prior to commencing treatment.

3. Avoid retinol 72 hours prior to treatment

4. -Avoid additional heat to the treated area, such as steam rooms, saunas, or exercising for 24 hours.

-Avoid applying any creams, soaps or lotions to the treated areas for 24 hours after.

-Avoid retinol, exfoliating products or active ingredients such as salicylic acid for two weeks after.

5.Use Aloe vera for first few days to cool the skin and use SPF daily, all year round

You can never fully remove pigment, you can only lighten. Typically 3 - 6 treatments are needed to reduce and then maintenance is usually recommended once or twice a year typically in Winter. Results depend on density of pigment and how well you follow aftercare
